Mr. Donald Francis Croft, 51, of Germanton died Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He was born May 15, 1957 in Lackawanna, NY, the son of the late Francis G. and Margaret R. Bonner Croft. Mr. Croft resided in Buffalo until moving to this area in 1997. He was a self employed carpenter and was an avid ""Buffalo Bills"" fan. He was a veteran of the US Army. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Shelby. Survivors include his wife, Sandy Croft of the home; one sister, Sue Perrin and husband, John of Denton; one niece, Melanie Merritt and husband, Eric of Denton; his mother-in-law, Patricia Dunkleman of Florida; two brothers-in-law, Bill Mosher of Florida and Ricky Mosher and wife, Anita of Buffalo, NY; two sisters-in-law, Cindy Wells of Florida and Debbie Jedrysik and husband, Ronnie of Buffalo, NY; numerous nieces and nephews and a multitude of wonderful friends. A military graveside service will be conducted Thursday at 12:00 noon at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. and from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The American SIDS Organization, 509 Augusta Drive, Marietta, GA 30067.
