Donald Bush

Mr. Donald Lee Bush, 75, passed away September 26, 2020 at Trellis Supportive Care of Winston-Salem.  He lost his battle with a brain tumor but won the victory with Jesus.  He was born June 29, 1945 in Guilford County to the late Joseph Eli Bush and Annie Margaret Bush.  He served in the United States Army from 1965 to 1967.  Don was a member of First Baptist Church of Stanleyville where he served as deacon as long as his health permitted.  He was always known for his caring and loving nature, and a friend to everyone.  The biggest highlight of his life is when he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior.  He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, and grandfather, the grandchildren being the blessing from God whom he adored.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Cathy and Angel.  He is survived by his loving wife Linda Bush; children, Judy Pegram (Ritchie), Tim Bush (Vivian) and Melissa Willard (Tony); grandchildren, Brett, Mekayla, Salem, Madison, McKenzie, Ryan, Josie, and Charlie.  A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Stanleyville Family Life Center with Pastor T Welch Officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Don will Lie in state one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 PM.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
