Dolly Moreau, wife, mother and friend has joined her maker in heaven after a short illness. Dolly was born to Rufus Metz and Daisy Leona Myers in Forsyth County on August 7, 1943. She was a graduate of Walkertown High School and had worked at Northwestern Bank and Baptist Hospital. Dolly was the wife of Ed Moreau for 49 years; the mother of two sons, Randy Moreau (wife Susan) of Wilmington, NC and Terry Moreau (wife Mischa) of Gurnee, Ill; grandmother of four children, Adam Moreau of Greenville, NC, Stephenie Holbrook of Wilmington, NC, Gabrielle Moreau and Isabelle Moreau of Gurnee, Ill. In her younger days, Dolly was an avid bowler, softball player and loved to swim. She was very friendly and never met a stranger. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Bill Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Special thanks to the staff of the ICU #3 unit at Forsyth Medical Center for their professional , caring, skillful care of Dolly during her stay. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Ronald McDonald House of Forsyth County.
