Dolly Gibson Eller

Mrs. Dolly Gibson Eller, 78, of Clemmons, NC died Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. She was born January 6, 1934, in Plaquemine, LA, the daughter of the late Clarence and Elizabeth Carlin Gibson. Mrs. Eller was a member of Harmony Grove United Methodist Church in Lewisville, NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Stanley Gibson, Charles Gibson and Moses Gibson. Survivors include her husband, Rev. Ken Eller of the home; three daughters, Ron Hunter and husband Jack of Hilton Head, SC; Patti Sprouse and husband Thomas of Clemmons, NC; and Lydia Brown and husband Mark of Maiden, NC; two sons, Roy Eller of Alexandria, VA; and Steve Eller of Frederick, MD; seven grandchildren, Spencer Strickland and wife Sara; Zachary Clampitt; Allison Clampitt; Alexandra Sprouse; Lauren Sprouse; Bailey Eller and Kevin Brown; two step-grandchildren, Jeffrey Sprouse, and Megan Kelly and husband Bill; one step-great grandchild, Nola Kelly and one sister, Delia Sanson of Houston, TX. Her dedication to God and family will be rewarded by a special throne in heaven that has certainly been reserved for her. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, December 2, 2012, at 4:00 PM at Harmony Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Gregg Freeman and Dr. Bill Medlin officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, Winston-Salem, NC.
