Diane Smith

Mrs. Diane “Pudder” Smith 72 passed from death unto life on March 27th, 2023 in the comfort of her home. She was born in High Point NC to the late Arlind and Ruby Hayden. She will be missed by her “handsome husband” of 56 years, Jerry Smith, best friend/daughter, Angie Richardson (Greg), and light of her life son, Barry Smith. Her grandchildren, Wesley, Bryan, Ashley (Ricky), and Daniela and great granddaughter, Elli Bean will always remember her as their “mawmaw Pudder.”

Her brothers, Bill Hayden (Betty) and Jr. (Dreta) always adored their baby sister.

To know Pudder was to love her. She brought the love, light, and laughter with her wherever she went. Although we will miss her dearly, we will go on spreading that love, light, and laughter she shared with us.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 31, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory.
