Dennis Michael Petty

Mr. Dennis Michael Petty, 55, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. He was born on August 5, 1955 in Mobile, AL to Hubert Charles Petty Sr. and Mary Veronica Moody Petty. Michael traveled the country working and was an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Patricia Ann Petty. Michael is survived by his mother, Mary Moody Petty of the home, a sister, Sara Petty Fowler of the home, two brothers, Bud Petty of the home and Jim Petty of Midway, a niece, Nikki Petty of New Jersey, a nephew, Jamie Petty of Midway, a special aunt and uncle, Ann and Ronnie Alonzo of Mobile, AL, special friends, Tom and Betty Swedenski of Crestview, FL and many other extended family members. A memorial service will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Friday, November 26, 2010 at Good Shephard Catholic Church in King with Father Larry Heiney officiating.
