Dennis Hauser

Mr. Dennis Samuel Hauser, 72, of Pfafftown, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Sunday, January 14, 2018.

Dennis was born September 4, 1945 in Forsyth County to Dalton and Lola Hauser. A member of Grace Baptist Church, he retired from R.J. Reynolds Packaging after 30 plus years of loyal service. Dennis was a devoted family man and friend to many. He dedicated much of his time to his friends at Vienna Village and to his church family. Dennis, a graduate of N.C. State, loved cheering on his Wolfpack as well as traveling and playing golf. His true passion in life was taking care of his wife and grandchildren. He never missed a grandchild's ballgame or dance recital. A humble man, Dennis will be truly missed by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Linda Gray Hauser; sons, Steven Ray Shore and wife Rowenna and Eric Hauser and wife Laura; grandchildren, Rayne Shore, Haley Shore, Tori Shore, Jenna Shore, Sarah Hauser, and Emily Hauser; brother, Wayne Hauser; mother in law, Mary Gray; sister in law, Peggy Humble; and special friends, Pastor Ed Sears, Randall Hinton and all his Monday morning golfing buddies.

A funeral service will be held Friday, January 19, 2018 at 2 PM at Grace Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 3305 Peters Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC 27127.
