Dennis Clark Tesh passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem, NC. He approached his pancreatic cancer diagnosis with tenacity and determination for two and a half years.
Clark was born to Dennis and Melba Tesh on August 4,1953. He received his BA in Biology from Wake Forest University, a BS in Chemistry from Guilford College and an MBA from Wake Forest University Babcock Graduate School of Management.
Clark’s youthful inquisitiveness prepared him for a lifetime of learning, never backing down from a challenge as he explored the world around him, honing skills including piloting his own airplane and becoming a successful software consultant. If one were blessed to call Clark ‘friend’ they knew the depth of his loyalty, kindness and generosity. A void that cannot be filled will be felt by his family and friends throughout the world.
Clark’s greatest passion in life was flying. He found peace and joy in the skies as he piloted his Piper Navajo with his wife Becky throughout the United States, Canada and the Bahamas. Working in Peru, Bogota Columbia, New Zealand and Scotland were highlights of his career.
Clark was preceded in death by his parents; his brother-in-law, Dr. Frank Fowler; and his father-in-law and mother-in law, George and Louise Murphy.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Becky Tesh; his brother, Larry Tesh; his sister, Karen Tesh Fowler; his nieces Savannah Connolly (Michael), and Emily Watson; and four great nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Ravi Paluri and his team at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for the exceptional medical care they provided to Clark during his cancer journey.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to celebrate Clark’s life, please consider a donation in his name to: Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
Per Clark’s request, a private celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
