Denise Hauser Caldwell

Mrs. Denise Hauser Caldwell, 58, of Lexington, passed away Friday, October 28, 2016 at her home peacefully surrounded by her husband and sons. She was born February 6, 1958 in Forsyth County. Mrs. Caldwell was a Registered Nurse for many years at Wake Forest Baptist Health and Forsyth Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her father, Mack Ray Hauser, Sr. Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Randy H. Caldwell; two sons, David Caldwell and wife Lisa of Lexington and Matthew Caldwell and Christyne Gonzalez of Apollo Beach, FL; one grandson, Tyler Caldwell; her two loving dogs, Bailey and Nitro. The family would like to mention a special thanks to Dr. Robert Holmes and his staff, Al Miller and the staff of the Ultrasound Lab at Forsyth Medical Center and to the Emergency Room staff at Forsyth Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 31, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Forsyth Humane Society, 4881 Country Club Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27104 or to Hospice & Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
