Denaye Jones Hodgin

Mrs. Denaye Jones Hodgin, 76, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born November 6, 1948, in Surry County, NC to the late Hoyal Jones and Lema Gunter Jones. Denaye was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She retired from RJ Reynolds and was a member of United Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Jim Hodgin; her son, Eddie Hodgin (Dacia); two grandchildren, Arden Hodgin and Jackson Hodgin. “The family would like to thank Wendy, Susan, and Arlene for their care given to Denaye”. The family will receive friends from 2pm until 4pm Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to United Baptist Church on Murray Road.
