Mrs. Delta Dunnagan Clinard, 87, of the Arcadia community in Davidson County died on Sunday, July 10, 2010 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born on November 30, 1922 in Davie County to Guy Charles and Maude Horn Dunnagan. She was a life-long Bible Student and a devoted, wife, mother, and grandmother. Her love of the Lord directed the steps of her life, and her desire to share the wonderful promises of God with others prompted her to spend many hours in God's service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Jeffrie Clinard, a brother, Gray Dunnagan, and a sister, Jennie Sue Sellards. She is survived by sons Dave Willard Clinard (Katie) of Arcadia and William Russell ""Rusty"" Clinard of Winston-Salem, and daughters Pat Burton (Fred) of Linville, N.C. and Brenda Daniel (Mike) of Kernersville, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a brother, William Dallas Dunnagan of Naples, Florida. A funeral service will be conducted at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Brother John Williams officiating. Burial will be at Parklawn Memorial Gardens. A visitation with the family will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14 at the funeral home.
