Deloris Watkins

Mrs. Deloris Ann Okoneski Watkins, 86, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at her home. She was born on March 6, 1934 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of the late Roman Okoneski and Julia Dobias Okoneski. Mrs. Watkins loved to roller skate, bowling and has devoted her entire life to her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Munson Watkins, Jr.; two sons, Glenn Joseph Georges and Ivan Ray Watkins; and a granddaughter, Lisa Dailene Cole. She is survived by a daughter, Karen Ann Cole (Roger); two sons, Arlen James Georges (Patti) and Marvin Alan Watkins (Kimberly); and four grandchildren, Andrew J. Georges, Eric J. Georges, Katrina “Kady” D. Watkins and Emma P. Watkins. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2020 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
