Mrs. Deloris Agnes Collins “Lois” Davis, 87, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Forsyth County on May 14, 1937, the daughter of the late William Brady Collins, Sr. and Lillie Belle Pinnix Collins. Lois was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, who will be missed deeply by all who knew her. She was a member of Northwoods Baptist Church and loved to work with her flowers. She also enjoyed spending time with her neighbors and daily phone calls with friends and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Davis and a sister, Shirley Rickman. Mrs. Davis is survived by her son, Allen Davis (Anna); four grandchildren, Shannon Karpenko (Nick), Ally Davis, Taylor Davis (River) and Jacob Davis; four great-grandchildren, Bentley Malone, Cooper Malone, Logan Karpenko and Wren Squires; one sister, Martha Faye Hudspeth (Sonny); two brothers, Sammy R. Collins and William B. Collins, Jr.; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Rural Hall Memorial Park with Pastor Jim Thompson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
