Delores Hamilton Gower

Mrs. Delores Hamilton Gower, 43, of Lexington, passed away Friday, December 3, 2010 at her home. She was born November 19, 1967. Delores' life was a wonderful reflection of the ""Fruit of the Spirit"" as Paul said in Galations 5:22-23, "" Love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control."" Delores was a graduate of University of North Carolina at Charlotte and was a member of Friedberg Moravian Church. She was preceded in death by her sister, Karen Crissman in 1985. Surviving are her husband, Todd Gower of the Home; one daughter, Faith Gower; her parents, Jacqueline Sears Hamilton and Dr. Ray Hamilton; one sister, Cindy Stevens of Jonesville and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 6, 2010 at Friedberg Moravian Church with Rev. G. Thomas Shelton and Rev. James C. Newsome, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church graveyard. The family will receive friends after the service in the sanctuary. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of your choice.
