Delmore Ernest Hester

Walkertown- Delmore Ernest Hester, 77, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011. He was born May 1, 1934 in Forsyth Co. to the late, Ernest Coble and Lora Fulp Hester. Mr. Hester was a member of Oak Grove Moravian Church, active in the Moravian Band and the Old Salem Band. He retired from the City of Winston Salem as a Right of Way Agent after many years of service. Surviving are his wife, Lynn Crawford Hester of the home; two daughters, Denise Hester Neal and husband, Jon of Greensboro, Leslie Nadine Hester of Winston Salem; four grandchildren, Whitney Bradley, Victoria Patrick, Robert Bradley, and Kylynn Bakos; one brother, Earl B. Hester and wife, Helen of Walkertown; and one sister, Sharon L. Kerr of Walkertown. A Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Oak Grove Moravian Church Graveyard with Rev. Matthew Allen officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 pm Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel.
