Della Mae Hege Franklin

Mrs. Della Mae Hege Franklin, 84, of Lewisville, passed away Friday, May 2, 2014 at her home. She was born December 10, 1929 in Forsyth County to John W. Hege and Etta Wall Hege. Mrs. Franklin was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Dee Franklin; four brothers, Carl Hege (infant), Luther Hege, Aldine Hege and J.W. Hege and one sister, Alma Whinery. Surviving are a son, Fred Franklin (Sarah) of Lewisville; two grandchildren, John ""J.R."" Franklin of Rocky Mount and Lauren Franklin of San Antonio, TX. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel with Rev. Gary Byrum officiating. Interment will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
