Delano Ann Crews Tilley

Mrs. Delano Ann Crews Tilley, 78, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Kernersville Medical Center. She was born in Forsyth Co. on September 20, 1933 to the late Noah Crews and Florence Grubbs Crews. Mrs. Tilley was a lifelong member of Providence Moravian Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and Godmother who will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Leonard Keith. Mrs. Tilley is survived by her husband of 54 years, Floyd ""Junior"" Tilley Jr. of the home, a daughter, Kim Childress of Winston-Salem, two granddaughters, Keisha Greene of Clemmons and Alisha Childress of Winston-Salem and a Godson, James Reid and wife Kerri of Winston-Salem. Funeral services for Mrs. Tilley will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Providence Moravian Church in Winston-Salem with Rev. Arkon Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the church graveyard. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Saturday evening, January 28, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
