Deborah Lynn Poindexter

WALKERTOWN - Deborah Lynn Poindexter, age 50, passed away Monday, April 7, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Deborah was born on July 29, 1963 in Forsyth County to the late Richard Elwood Fulp and wife, Jean Kiger Fulp. She was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Jesse Junior Poindexter; her mother, Jean Kiger Fulp; one daughter, Angelique' Hope Sheets (Derek); one son, Christopher Richard Neal; and two wonderful grandchildren, Allison McKenzie Sheets and Justin Tyler Sheets.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Edgewood Baptist Church with Rev. Kent Hogan and Rev. Darrell Fulp officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the church. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
