Debbie Davidson, daughter of Dewey and Jane Davidson, joined our Savior in Heaven on November 11 at Forsyth Medical Center. Debbie's infectious smile and joy for living brightened the lives of her family and hundreds of people throughout the area. Debbie, born in Ashe County on April 14, 1965, has lived in Forsyth County most of her life. She has attended the Enrichment Center since her graduation from South Park High School. Debbie adored the staff and clients at the Enrichment Center and through the years has loved and excelled in classes in dancing, drama, art, pottery, music, fabric painting, exercise and swimming, health and wellness, writing and poetry. Hundreds of people have enjoyed Debbie's big smile as she performed with the Inner Rhythm Choir for the past 29 years. Choir Director Jacki Rullman, whom she adored, has taken Debbie from a barely audible voice to doing solos. Debbie, a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, also loved attending Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church with her United Methodist Group Home family. Debbie has lived in the Waddell Group home for the past 9 years. In addition to her parents, Debbie is survived by her brother, Don Davidson and wife, Sonia, niece, Brittni, nephew, Ryan and foster brother, Thanh Ngo and family, Thich and Vinh Ngo. She is also survived by uncles, Duke Bledsoe, Gurney Davidson and Curt Davidson, cousins Cindy Atwood, Dollene Davidson, Christine Berman, Ellen Winters, JoAnne, Kathy, and Billy Davidson.Her family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, November 13 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at St. John's Lutheran Church on Saturday November 14 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jim Murr officiating. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM at the Ashe Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Jefferson, N.C. Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran, 2415 Silas Creek Parkway, W-S, N.C. 27103, The Enrichment Center, 106 South Marshall St., W-S, N.C. 27101 or the United Methodist Group Homes, 9800 Kincoy Ave., Suite 190, Huntersville, N.C. 28078.
