Deborah "Debbie" Bishop Anderson

2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Deborah ""Debbie"" Bishop Anderson of Advance, North Carolina, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 22. 2015. She was born in Forsyth County on January 27, 1953. She was raised in Wilkes County by her grandparents, William Cicero Bishop and Rosa Church Bishop and her mother Agnes Connie Kilby. Debbie was loved by many and always shared her love with those fortunate enough to know her. She was a devoted mother and loving grandmother. She walked closely with the Lord and was an active member of Yadkin Valley Baptist Church. She enjoyed sharing her talents with others, as she was an artisan and skilled baker. She especially loved baking pound cakes. Debbie's love and joy for life will be missed by many people. In addition to her grandparents, William Cicero Bishop and Rosa Church Bishop, and mother Agnes Connie Kilby Bishop, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Anderson and grandson, John Hudler. Surviving are three children; Donna Jefferson of Winston-Salem, Donald Anderson and wife, Susie of Winston-Salem, Greg Martin and wife, Bridget of Welches, Oregon, six grandchildren; Tyler, Sophia, Reese, Ava, Briton, Charlie, a sister, Tammy Kilby and husband, Dale of Hamptonville, NC, a brother, Tommy Kilby of Wilkesboro, NC, a special cousin who grew up with her as a sister, Nokie Ford of Walkertown, NC and several loving cousins, and friends, who were dear to her throughout the years and her special Yorkie Abby. The Funeral Service will be conducted 5:00 pm Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Yadkin Valley Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Ronnie Craddock. The body will lie in state from 4:00-5:00 pm prior to the service. The family will receive friends following the service in the Church Fellowship Hall. A Graveside Service will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, January 25, 2015 in the Fishing Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 1191 Old Hwy 60, Wilkesboro, NC.
