Deanna Tipton Harrington

Oak Ridge – Mrs. Deanna Tipton Harrington, 43, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at her residence. She was born on February 4, 1980, in King County, Washington to Charles and Cynthia Tipton. Deanna loved being a mother of boys and always aimed to make them well rounded, often exposing them to different cultural experiences including museum visits and theatre. She also loved watching them play sports. Whether it was basketball, baseball, track, or football, Deanna was always there cheering them on. She was a loving free spirit who loved new adventures and traveling, especially to the beach or mountains. Deanna was very sociable; she enjoyed talking and spending time with her friends and going to concerts. She loved to take care of herself and others, even owning her own spray tan business called The Golden Girl to help women feel beautiful. Deanna was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her father, Deanna was preceded in death by an infant brother, Michael Brandon Dull and her aunt, Bev Jesmore.

She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Daniel Patrick Harrington; three sons, Logan Beavers (Emily), Jett Harrington, and Shaye Harrington; one grandson, Liam Beavers; her mother and stepfather, Cindi and Warren Dull; three siblings, April Cuomo-Good, Shane Tipton, and Kelsey Soini (Nick); her in-laws, James and Patricia Harrington; and 20 nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 20, 2023, as well as 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday April 21, 2023, both at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
