DeAnna Lynne Carico Carswell, of High Point, NC, left this life for her Heavenly home on Tuesday, March 19, 2013. DeAnna was born on February 10, 1960 in Dante, VA to Darriel and Sylvia Carico. She is preceded in death by her father, Darriel. Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Mel Todd Carswell, of High Point, NC and Burke County, NC; her mother, Sylvia Carico, of Nora, VA; two sons, Brenton Salyer, and wife Debbie and Brett Salyer, all of Jamestown, NC; her daughter, Brittney Salyer Blevins, and husband Mike of Castlewood, VA; her sister, Leisa Powell, and husband Byron and brother, Greg Carico, and wife Shelia, all of Warrenton, VA; seven grandchildren, Kaylynn, Gary, Blake, Mason, Maddox, Dillon and Isabella. A celebration of DeAnna's life will be held Friday, March 22 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel from 6:30-8:30 p.m. A private service will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank Dr. Bernard Chinnasami for his dedication, compassion and perseverance with DeAnna through her journey. Special thanks to the Kate B.
