Mr. Dean Allan Caldwell, 61, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mr. Caldwell was born in Halifax County, VA on July 27, 1955 to Joseph Allan Caldwell and Helen Owen Caldwell. Dean was a member and served as a Deacon at Center Grove Baptist Church. He was the CEO of Red-e Set Grow and an avid Wake Forest and Carolina Panthers fan. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Benjamin Allan Caldwell. In addition to his parents, Dean is survived by his wife, Cathy McIver Caldwell; one son, Alex Caldwell; two daughters, Emily Caldwell and Sarah Bodenheimer (Matt); two grandchildren, Grayson and Maci Bodenheimer; one brother, Kevin Caldwell (Rob Edwards); a niece, Ana; nephews, Lake, Jayson and Leo. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at Center Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Steve Corts, Dr. Mark Harris, and Mr. Mark Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or to Center Grove Baptist Church, 8750 Lasater Rd., Clemmons, NC 27103.
