Dayna Creasy

Miss Dayna Elizabeth Creasy, 22, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 12, 2018.  She was born on February 18, 1996 in Forsyth County to Blake and Donna Creasy.  Dayna graduated from Ronald Reagan High School in 2014 where she ran track and cross country.  She played soccer, basketball and danced for most of her years as a youth.  After high school, she attended and graduated from UNC Wilmington with honors with a BS degree in Chemistry.  She was currently working on her graduate degree in Data Science at UNC Wilmington.  Dayna loved attending concerts with her friends and traveling.  She was a kind girl with the sweetest smile and a friend to all.  “Show Love, Spread Love”.  Preceding her in death was her maternal grandfather, Anthony Tusa.  In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Jason Creasy and his girlfriend, Laura Knighton; paternal grandparents, Ron and Barbara Creasy; maternal grandmother, Mary Tusa; two uncles, Boyd Creasy (Sharon) and Brian Creasy (Karen); aunt, Ninfa Rosinia (Frank); eight cousins, Susan Creasy, Samantha Creasy, Zach Creasy, Hannah Creasy, Zoey Creasy, Biagia Rosinia, Antonia Rosinia, and Victoria Rosinia; also surviving is her loving cat, “Sadie Bug.”  A prayer service will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Deacon John Harrison officiating.  There will be no formal visitation.  In lieu of flowers, and due to Dayna’s love of animals, the family requests that donations be made to Adopt an Angel, PO Box 15095 Wilmington, NC 28408 or to the American Heart Association, 128 South Tyron St., Suite 1588 Charlotte, NC 28202.  Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel is serving the family.
