Dawn Poole Lovern

Today we honor a christian, a mom, a spouse, an auntie, a sister, and an amazing friend who is taken, but whose heart will always be a significant part of who we are. Through love and affection, the blessing of her time invested in each of our lives, and with sadness her time is taken from us, but just for now. Forever abides hope, faith, and comforting truth that your Heavenly Father has received you, Dawn, for something greater than your ministries here on earth. Your eternity and faithful rewards await you. Memories of a strong family with a great legacy to relieve our present sadness, to keep traditions alive to prove our love is stronger than our grief.

So today, with my faith, heart and hopes kicking, crying, and protesting against this farewell, I am confident that this parting is not forever. I am the greatest recipient of your love. I have and will cherish them throughout my life. Your willingness to invest your love with others has multiplied love in hearts around the world. Your love is powerful and will endure forever. Why would any of us want to leave the sanctuary of your love? Your faithful commitment to Jesus Christ, the church, your family, and your friends are a heritage that can be treasured in our hearts and a pattern for our lives.

Farewell my beloved,

Skeebo
