Mr. David Charles Vernon, 61, passed away Wednesday January 2, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born October 25, 1951 in Forsyth County to Mary Bailey and Roland Vernon. Surviving is his wife, Ronda Vernon of the home; five children; eight grandchildren; one brother. A graveside service will be held 1:00PM Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Salisbury National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Thursday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
