WINSTON-SALEM--Mr. David Alan Tuttle, 44, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mr. Tuttle was born on May 23, 1969 in Forsyth County to Steve and Betty Tuttle. He graduated from North Forsyth High School. David worked in automotive sales for a number of years at both Modern Chevrolet and Parkway Ford. He had a love for music and playing the drums. David was also known for his drawing skills and great sense of humor. David was a member of Winston-Salem First. He had a strong foundation of faith and loved his Lord and it was evident during his illness. David's biggest accomplishment in life was being a father to both Danielle and Duncan. Preceding Mr. Tuttle in death are his paternal grandparents, Clady G. and Myrtis M. Tuttle and his maternal grandfather, Nathan Alexander Mills. Mr. Tuttle is survived by his children, Danielle Lea Tuttle and Duncan Ross Tuttle, both of Lewisville, NC; his parents, Steve and Betty Tuttle; one brother, Jeff Tuttle of Winston-Salem; maternal grandmother, Florence J. Dean of Winston-Salem; a niece, Peyton Tuttle of Winston-Salem and other loving family members. Funeral services for Mr. Tuttle will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 19, 2013 at Winston-Salem First with Rev. Wes Tuttle, Dr. Michael Rakes and Rev. Tim Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be sent to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
