David Eugene Tutterow

Mr. David Eugene Tutterow, 73, passed away at his home on Sunday, November 30, 2014. He was born in Forsyth Co. on December 20, 1940 to the late Cecil Fred Tutterow and Ethel Campbell Tutterow. David was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend who will be missed deeply by all who knew him. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandchild, Amick Lee Horn, 2 brothers and a sister. David is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Sonya Brown Tutterow of the home, two daughters, Connie Mackie (Junior) of Winston-Salem and Michelle Horn (Mike) of Rural Hall, a son, Terry E. Tutterow and fiancé, Teresa Mabe of Winston-Salem, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 this evening, Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to: Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
