David loved all genres of music and both he and his wife, Myra, passed down musical talents to their children. He was also a collector of cameras and had an impressive collection of model trains.
Surviving are his wife, Myra Thrasher; a son, James Thrasher (wife, Elesha); a daughter, Kimberly Dennings (husband, Mark); four grandchildren, Jaden and Rylan Thrasher, Ethan and Keira Dennings; one brother, Don Thrasher (wife, Phyllis); and many nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate David’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Dr. Curt Dean officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
