Mr. David Gregory Royal, 51, of Winston-Salem passed away Sunday, March 8, 2009. He was born April 4, 1957 in Forsyth County to Boyce and Betty Williams Royal. Mr. Royal was of the Baptist faith. He was employed with R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company with over 32 years of loyal service. He loved the outdoors, golfing, hunting and fishing. He was the handyman of the neighborhood, helping each and every one. He was a loving father and husband. Surviving is his loving wife of 32 years, Penny Fulp Royal of the home; one son, Justin Royal of the home; his parents of Winston-Salem; one sister, Cynthia Royal of Lewisville; his niece and nephews; and his special companions, Sampson and Lucy. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 12 at Parklawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Sharon R. Engebretson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
