David Carl Renken, Jr.

Mr. David Carl Renken, Jr. 42 of Lexington died Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Lexington Memorial Hospital. He was born December 15, 1966 in Forsyth County to David Carl Renken, Sr. and Linda Whicker Renken. Mr. Renken was a member of Central Tabernacle. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Shelly Renken of Lexington; two daughters, Jaclyn Dienes and Gabrielle Renken of Winston-Salem; one son, David Dienes of Winston-Salem; his mother of Welcome; one sister, Dawn Floyd and husband, Michael of Pfafftown; three brothers, Christopher Daniel Renken and Jimmy Gray Renken of Lexington and Jeffrey Lee Renken and wife, Linda of Texas; one aunt, Sandy Whicker of Winston-Salem; one uncle, Richard Whicker and wife, Tracy of Charlotte and his best friend, Tony Woodard of Lexington. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 PM at Central Tabernacle with Rev. Sandra Bovender officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to David's children.
