David Earnest Massey, Jr

Mr. David Earnest Massey, Jr. age 82 of Rural Hall passed away Wednesday morning, January 5, 2011 surrounded by his family. David was born December 22, 1928 in Forsyth County to the late David Earnest, Sr. and the late Martha Mary Troutt Massey. David was an avid fisherman and sweet spirited soul man. He was very warm hearted and gave to others the love and kindness one desires. David's sense of humor will greatly be missed by all who loved and knew him. In addition to his parents David was preceded in death by his wife; Margaret Sink Massey and one brother; Robert Ray Massey. Surviving are his daughter; Ann Anderson Trefry of Lake Norman NC. One sister; Mildred Massey of Rural Hall. A graveside service will be conducted Friday afternoon, January 7, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall by Brother Terry Brandon. The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall Thursday evening January 6th from 6:30 until 8:30 P.M.
