David Carroll Link

Mr. David Carroll Link, 74, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at his residence. David was born on October 5, 1940 in Iowa to Herb and Agnes Link, Sr. He worked for Roadway Trucking for 45 years and raised Belgian Horses. David loved to farm and loved to work with his hands. He belonged to the Moose Lodge of Winston-Salem. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a step son, Jimmy Robinette; and his mother-in-law, Ella Burgess. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Judith Burgess Link of the home; his son, David Robinette and wife Carla of Charlotte; and a grandson, Ethan Robinette of Charlotte. A funeral service for David will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Chaplain Randy Hillman officiating.
