David Solomon Lefkowitz

Dr. David Solomon Lefkowitz, 63, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 15, 2017 at his home. He was born in New York on September 17, 1953 to the late Bert and Vita Lefkowitz. David graduated from Franklin & Marshall College and then moved to Winston-Salem to attend medical school at Bowman Gray School of Medicine from 1974-1978. He served his residency from 1979-1982 at Bowman Gray and then a fellowship in 1983. He was currently employed as an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology at Wake Forest Baptist Health. Surviving is his wife of 39 years, Nancy Gaby Lefkowitz whom he married in 1978. There will be no formal services.
