David Lambeth

Mr. David "Wayne" Lambeth, 84, passed away on May 30, 2018. He was born on February 12, 1934, in Forsyth County to Edward Mitchell and Berta Mae Lambeth. He enjoyed racing modified racecars and woodworking. Wayne is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Earl Lambeth. Surviving are his children, Patricia "Pat" Riddle, John Lambeth, Donna Scott and Tamara Cecil; grandchildren, Michelle Hopkins, Heather Crump, John Riddle, Sarah Smith, Rachel Brady, Thomas Riddle, Misty Youngs, Colter Scott and Tiffanie Bishop; 15 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruth Calkins; and one brother, Dallas Lambeth. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, June 3, 2018, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Bill James officiating. Burial will follow the service at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
