David Alan Huffman

Mr. David Alan Huffman, 58, of Clemmons, NC, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014. He was born July 26, 1955 in Forsyth County to Joseph B. Huffman, Sr. and Lewana Hemmings Huffman. Mr. Huffman was a volunteer firefighter with the South Fork Fire Department for twenty years, and was employed with Mock Tire Company on Robinhood Road. He was a Staff Sgt. in the U.S. Army Reserves. He loved hunting and fishing. David loved his family very much, spending time with his special grandson, Dean Huffman and special nephew, Robert Ingram. He touched the life of everyone he came in contact with. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Huffman; and brothers, Joey and John Huffman. Surviving are his wife, Diane S. Huffman; one son, Jason Huffman (Dana Rickert); grandson, Dean Huffman and Dean's mother, Jeni Sigmon; David's mother, Lewana Huffman; and a brother, Ronnie Huffman (Regina). There will be a private family graveside service Saturday morning, January 18, 2014 with a celebration of life service following at 1:00 p.m. at Lewisville United Methodist Church with Pastor Tom Albert and Pastor Michael Flack officiating. There will be a visitation and reception following the service at the church. David was a member of Concord United Methodist Church.
