David Hastings

Mr. David Hastings, 82, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center.  He was born on July 30, 1940, in Forsyth County to the late Francis Wilson and Mary Allen Hastings.  David loved to golf, travel, and go to the beach.  He also enjoyed boating and photography.  Preceding him in death was his wife, Luanne McKinney Hastings, son, Mark Hastings and a daughter, Debbie Wilson.  Surviving are five grandchildren, Jacob Hastings (Madison), Joshua Hastings, Courtney Wilson Harper (John), Jordan Murray (Katie), and Alexis Olivares (Alex Neely); also surviving is a great-grandson, Rowan Hastings.  A service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 30, 2022 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor John Bishop officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Memphis, TN 38105.
