Mr. David Wayne Fulcher, 57, of Winston-Salem died unexpectedly Monday, September 8, 2008 in Ocala, FL, He was born June 7, 1951 in Forsyth County, the son of the late Vincent and Treva Leinbach Fulcher. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Fulcher and Amelia Fulcher Bost. Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Kathy Joyce Fulcher of the home; one daughter, Krystal Pegram Weiss and husband, Matt and two grandchildren, Mason and Bella Weiss all of Rockwell; three brothers, Hugh Fulcher and wife Karen, Chester Fulcher and wife, Debbie and Terry Fulcher and wife, Joan all of Winston-Salem; one sister, Dianne Anderson of Hodges, SC and one special aunt, Winnella Leinbach Duncan (Aunt Nell) of Winston-Salem; and many special nieces and nephews. Previously he was a vice president of Anvil Knitting in Mullins, SC, previous owner of Crowfoot Service Center and previous part owner of G&G Printing. For the past 13 years, he was a salesman, an officer and served on the Board of Directors of Leinbach Machinery. He was a member of Reynolda Presbyterian Church where he served and ministered as a deacon, greeter and Pioneer Club Leader. David was a gentle giant, one who loved his family and loved life. He never met a stranger and had a spirit that all children were drawn to. All who knew him got a genuine hand shake and a smile of acceptance and love. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 11, 2008 from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Reynolda Presbyterian Church. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Rev. Alan Wright and Rev. Richard Little officiating. A private family burial will be at Morris Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Walkertown.
