David Fox

David Eugene Fox, 88, of Winston Salem, North Carolina departed this life to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Grayson Creek Assisted Living. Mr. Fox was born on May 25, 1933 in Forsyth County, North Carolina to the late Oscar Clifton Fox and Julia Weaver Fox. David retired from AT&T after 39 1/2 years of service. Mr. Fox was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church in Lexington, North Carolina for over 50 years. David enjoyed serving with his wife in various ways in the church. He also enjoyed traveling, gardening, and baseball. In addition to his parents, Mr. Fox was preceded in death by his first wife and mother to his son, Gladys Marie Fox; his second wife Anita Brown Fox and three brothers, William Fox, Robert Fox, and Bynum Fox, stepson Keith Revis, and granddaughter, Heather Revis. Mr. Fox is survived by his son, Ricky Fox (Joy) and two stepdaughters, Debbie Beck (Tim)and Lynette Frye (Derek); six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Becky Coffey of Hayes, North Carolina. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Union Grove Baptist Church, Lexington North Carolina with Pastor Harold Fletcher and Pastor TW Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Monday, January 24 at the church.
