Mr. David Franklin Everhart, ""The Barbeque Man"", 70, of Sherrills Ford, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at his residence. He was born June 21, 1940 in Forsyth County to Walter Taft and Cora Snyder Everhart. Surviving are his wife, Maxine Curry Everhart of the home; three children, Michelle Kiger and husband Aaron (Toot) of Winston-Salem, Daniel Everhart and Jessica of Kentucky, and Neill Everhart and wife Branka of Winston-Salem; one stepdaughter, Sherry Hunter of Winston-Salem; five grandchildren, David Kiger, Nikolas, Gage, Dane and Natalia Everhart; two sisters, Dorothy Temples and husband Jimmy, Barbara Pruitt and husband Leon, all of Winston-Salem. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, June 10 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. David Merritt and the Rev. Joe Westfall officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Moravian Church Graveyard. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Mt.
