David Thomas 'Tom' Dotson

Mr. David Thomas ""Tom"" Dotson, 58 of Winston-Salem, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013. Tom was born April 29, 1955 in Clifton Forge, VA to the late James Theodore Dotson, Sr. and Emma Jean Southern Dotson. Tom was an avid hunter and worked for Piedmont Sheet Metal for over 24 years. Surviving to cherish his memory are five brothers and two sisters; Ted (Mary) Dotson, Patty (Glen) Fulmer, Tim (Rhonda) Dotson, Joe (Pam) Dotson all of Kentucky, Andy Dotson and fiancée of Clemmons, NC, Donnie (Theresa) Dotson of Advance, NC, Laura (Randy) Moore of West Virginia, his fiancée, Norma Bennett-Rookstool of Winston-Salem, several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and a special uncle, Carl Dotson of Belews Creek, NC. At 6:00 pm, Rev. Darryl Vestal will have Scripture and Prayer prior to the family receiving friends from 6-8:00 pm Monday, July 15 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. A Graveside Service will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 17, in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill, Kentucky.
