Mr. David Wayne Dalton, 46, of Rural Hall, NC passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023, at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. He was born April 1, 1977, in Forsyth County to Brenda Shore Dalton and the late Jerry Dean Dalton. David was a loving son and friend. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing board games and computer games. He loved his special cousin Ashlyn Heller. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his recently deceased aunt, Glenda Dalton Brown. He is survived by his loving mother, Brenda Shore Dalton; special cousin, Ashlyn Heller; aunts, Maxie Boger, Judy Daulton, and Brenda Daulton; special friends, Claude Cavallo and John Sneden; and numerous cousins and friends. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday April 30, 2023, at New Bethel Baptist Church with Chaplin Chase Rollins officiating. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery where David will be laid to rest beside his father. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM Sunday, April 30, 2023, at New Bethel Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 8, Tobaccoville, NC, 27050.
