Mr. David Jackson Clary, of Pfafftown, 74, passed away April 4, 2013 of natural causes at his home. He was born April 5, 1938 in Forsyth County to George Hughes Clary, Sr. and Mary Nell Fowler Clary. His older brother, Hugh Clary preceded him in death. His surviving siblings are Steven W. Clary of Dallas, TX, Madeline Clary Kuettner of Pfafftown, and Charles F. Clary of Lincolnton and their spouses. He had several loving nephews and nieces and great nephews and nieces and one great, great niece who all loved their uncle David. He was a lifelong member of Calvary Baptist Church of Winston-Salem. He was a professional truck driver most of his adult life and traveled all over the United States. He had been a member of The Original Jokers Motorcycle Club of Winston-Salem. He still enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle with his buddies. He loved his 'brothers' and 'sisters' at Willie's Honky Tonk. He loved to play penny poker at the tire shop with all of his friends. David was one of the last of the good ole Southern boys. He was a very humorous and fun loving guy and had countless friends. David will be greatly missed by them and all his family. He lived life to the fullest, loved anything with wheels and liked country music . A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Gary Byrum officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
