On September 3, 2011 David Patrick Burgan was taken home to be with the Lord. He was an honorary Lay Speaker for Oak Grove United Methodist of Rural Hall. David was a graduate of Cedar Forest Christian School. He was employed by K-Ham Plumbing for 12 years, was head foreman for Mr. Kenny Hambright, a beloved father figure and friend. David was a devoted Christian man to his surviving wife, Tracey Tuttle Burgan as to whom she was referred to as ""his world"". She loves, honors and adores him. Surviving also are his parents, Ramon and Teresa Burgan; his brother, Richie and Michelle Tuttle Burgan; ""his sister""; a sister, Renee and Chris Brown; two special nieces, Cara Brown and Samantha Burgan; his mother-in-law, Miona ""Petie"" Longworth Tuttle; his father-in-law, Tex W. Tuttle and three grandmothers, Chris Park, Lindel Longworth and Mary E. Tuttle. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Oak Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Duncan Martin and Rev. Bobby Jenkins officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel.
