David Gray Bowman Jr.

WALKERTOWN - David Gray Bowman, Jr., 43, died Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Springwood Care Center. David was born on August 16, 1970 in Forsyth County to David Gray Bowman, Sr. and Judy McMichael Bowman. David worked for Modern Machine for 11 years.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Charlie Ray Bowman; maternal grandfather, Charlie McMichael; and paternal grandparents, Edgar and Nora Bowman.

Surviving are his parents, David and Judy; one sister, Ruby Pope (David) of Walkertown; maternal grandmother, Ruby McMichael; and many loving uncles, aunts and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. William Bowman, Rev. Darrell Fulp and Elder Rondy Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, at the funeral home and at other times at the home.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Springwood Care Center for their care and also to Wayne Knight for all the loving care and help he gave to David.
