Darren Lee Colbert

Darren Lee Colbert, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 27, 2015. Darren was born on March 13, 1966 to Willa Faye Colbert and the late Douglas Colbert, Sr. He was employed by Sherwin Williams formerly Duron Paint for 18 years and was a graduate of Davie High School. He was a proud member of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians. He loved to fish and knew his paint colors before the paint was on the walls. He is survived by his wife, Anne Darr Colbert of Winston-Salem; two sons, Taylor Colbert of the home and Brad Colbert of Oregon; three brothers, Doug Colbert, Jr. and wife Carol, Curtis Colbert and wife Lynn, Kenny Colbert; two sisters, Rhonda Perkins and husband Mike and Talia Booie and husband Barney;his father-in-law, Jack Darr of Raleigh; brother-in-law, David Darr and wife Amy also of Raleigh; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Robert Jenkins officiating.
