Darlene Hedrick

Darlene McGuire Hedrick, 63, of Clemmons, NC, passed away on June 1, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center.

Darlene was born to the late James and Irene McGuire on April 6, 1959, in Narrows, Virginia. She was one of 3 children among her 2 brothers: Eddie and Freddy McGuire.

She spent a large part of her life caring for others in their time of need, as she took much pride in sharing her love with those who surrounded her. Darlene also enjoyed cooking, gardening, and hanging out with her beloved dog, Bubby, as well as spending time with her daughter and grandchildren. She had a lasting impact on those around her and was dearly loved by all. Darlene will be truly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James McGuire and Irene Billings Fortner McGuire; her 2 brothers, Eddie and Freddy McGuire; her loving husband, Terry Hedrick; and her beloved dog, Bubby.

Darlene leaves behind her longtime boyfriend, Robert (Pete) Tilley; her daughter, Crystal Spear; grandchildren, Harley Call, Tyler Barron, Jordan Griffin, and Ryan Hunt; and her nephew, Larry McGuire.

A memorial service will be held for Darlene on Thursday June 9, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
