Darius Stewart

Mr. Darius Eugene Stewart, 75, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2018 at Hospice of High Point. He was born on February 24, 1942 in Forsyth County to Ralph Eugene Stewart and Beulah Chandler Stewart. Darius retired from U.S. Airways after 42 years of service.
In addition to his parents, Darius was preceded in death by one sister, Pat Prophet. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Stewart of 55 years; two sons, Christopher Stewart and Kenny Stewart (wife, Angie); and one grandson, Evan Stewart.
A memorial service for Darius will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Billy Hicks officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont at 1801 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC 27262.
