Danny Lee McGee

Mr. Danny Lee McGee, 64, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, December 5, 2015. He was born in Forsyth County March 17, 1951 to Margaret Ingram McGee and the late R.G. McGee, Jr. Danny was a member of Believers Baptist Church. He was hardworking, loved to sing, and enjoyed go-cart racing with his son. Danny never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved his family and adored his grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his father, Danny was preceded in death by his son, Michael McGee. He is survived by his loving wife, Diane McGee of the home; mother, Margaret McGee; three sons: Brian McGee (Lisa), Donny Price (Trena), and Kevin Price (Cindy); one daughter, Tabatha Gallimore; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Pastor Don McGee (Robin) and Terry McGee (Lisa); and a host of extended family and friends. A funeral service will be conducted at Believers Baptist Church in Walkertown with Pastor Don McGee officiating Tuesday, December 8 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 7 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
