Danny Melton

Danny Kay Melton, 74, of Walkertown, NC, passed away July 1, 2022, at his home. He was born June 22, 1946, in Woodlawn, Virginia, to the late Vivian Melton and Nellie Melton.

Danny was an avid car collector, always working and tinkering in his garage. He also enjoyed flying planes. Soon after Danny graduated high school, he enlisted in the United States Marines. He took much pride and joy in his faithful journey throughout the 4 years he was able to serve his country.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Vivian and Nellie Melton; and his daughter, Christina Melton who tragically passed away at the age of 9.

He is survived by his son, Anthony Melton; and his 2 dearest friends, Bonnie Ellis and Lilly Clauer.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday July 19, 2022, at Crestview Memorial Park, with Rev. Alan Hutchens officiating.
